	Wildlife Like their larger grey cousins the red squirrels like to steal the nuts form the bird table. We have a family of red squirrels nesting in one of the trees at Callater Lodge.
A notoriously shy bird, you will usually hear the woodpecker before you see him. We have one who regularly visits the garden.
	We have a mallard and his mate who visit Callater Lodge most morning in search of leftover toast from the breakfasts. The children have named them 'Biddie' and 'Donny'.
